While I enjoyed the first Nannies book a bit more, this one has its merits as well and will keep readers on their toes as they turn the pages to find out what crazy thing will happen next. And underneath their ultra-cool exteriors, Platinums kids really just need a mom. With the drugged-out rock star ready to fire anyone at a moments notice (or to try and seduce their boyfriends), Kiley has a real mess on her hands. Kiley is the brave soul, trying to keep on top of Platinums crazy kids and on Platinums good side (is there one?) at the same time. Shes really just not sure what she wants and it shows. Should she try to make everything up to Junior? Or is what she has with the gorgeous Jonathan worth the risk? And is Jonathan the nice guy&or what? Esmes worst problem is really an internal one. Shes still torn between two boys and two worlds. Every time she seems to be making progress with them (like getting them to open up and be happy), Anya is there to shut her down. Shes also beset on every side from her aunts partner, who wants to keep the kids on an ultra-strict schedule. She quickly learns that you cant always judge a book by its cover. In Friends with Benefits the girls from The Nannies are back and ready for some more adventuresor are they? Lydia, ever the schemer has a plan to get rich quick by finding good nannies for rich clients.

Practical, funny, and thought-provoking, How to Talk About Books You Havent Read is in the end a love letter to books, offering a whole new perspective on how we read and absorb them. Using examples from such writers as Graham Greene, Oscar Wilde, Montaigne, and Umberto Eco, and even the movie Groundhog Day, he describes the many varieties of non-reading and the horribly sticky social situations that might confront us, and then offers his advice on what to do. If civilized people are expected to have read all important works of literature, and thousands more books are published every year, what are we supposed to do in those awkward social situations in which were forced to talk about books we havent read? In this delightfully witty, provocative book, a huge hit in France that has drawn attention from critics around the world, literature professor and psychoanalyst Pierre Bayard argues that its actually more important to know a books role in our collective library than its details. Even Bayard’s personal revelation that he’s read relatively little turns out to be untrue: He told an interviewer that the book is told by a fictional personality who boasts about not. She never expected to fall for a man on the way. Suffocated by the rules and unanswered questions, Mila does what she’s always wanted to. Not about her papa’s absences or his refusal to let her set foot in her birthplace-Russia. A normal day for her includes coffee, bodice rippers, and 1990s chick flicks. She has written in both the fantasy subgenre as well as contemporary, but will never stray from romance. Having always done what is expected of her, Mila dresses the part, only dates college boys with exemplary backgrounds, and doesn’t ask questions. Danielle Lori’s novels incorporate morally questionable heroes, electric hate to love relationships, and sometimes sweet but mostly sassy heroines.
